Race Day InformationWhat You Need To Know

When: January 26th & 27th* 2013

Distance: 8mile course starting at 9am. The fastest time should be around 90 minutes. Longest times will be over 3 hours. We use Timing Chips for accuracy.

Start Times:Heats of up to 250 people will leave starting at 9AM and go every half hour until 3pm. Elite heats are 9 and 9:30 on saturday and 9am on sunday.

Aid Stations: Aid stations yet to be determined, most likely 3.

All Racers Receive:

- Finishers Medal
- Free Spartan Race T-Shirt
- Scrapes and Bruises
- Stories, stories, and more stories

Spectators: Spectator tickets are $20 and sold onsite (please bring cash, limited Credit Card services are available). As a Spartan Race spectator, you get $5 Spartan bucks redeemable at the merchandise tent, a festival map, and rad access to some obstacles on the course, the epic Gladiator pit and finish line, and the vendor tents! So enjoy the live music and watching your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course in the safety and comfort (and relative mudlessness) of the Spartan Race festival ground areas! Raffles, entertainment, free muddy hugs from Spartan athletes, and all the other festival perks make this the best $10 you'll ever spend and we promise the next ticket you will want to buy will be a race entry!

Strength comes in numbers!   Become part of a team to help yourself and others get through the event, save money, and support our troops.

How does it work?

Create a team or join a team! The more people on a team, the more money everyone will get back in their pocket! Each team member will receive a discount, refunded to the method of payment used, a few days prior to race day. The discount escalates as the team size increases, so get more friends to join your team and everyone saves more money!

How many people are needed to make a team?

Teams are unlimited with a minimum of four people! Team members are timed individually and are not required to cross the finish line together.

Which team takes home the prizes?

The fastest 4 times of the team will be used to calculate the team's finishing time. Prizes will be awarded to the team who finishes on top! Interested? Learn more here...

Hurricane Heat AvailableRun with the Spartan race Founders & Staff

Hurricane Heat time TBD. (NO HURRICANE HEAT ON Sunday!)

 

The Hurricane Heat (a.k.a. HH) is a special Spartan Fun Run opportunity that gives runners the chance to meet and run with the Founders and staff of Spartan Race in a unique and memorable way. Held sometime early Saturday morning or Friday night (Head lamps and glow sticks required!)  it will take you through the course in groups with the goal of just finishing the course. No chips, no clock, just a fun run Spartan-style that represents what our company and our athletes are about… getting up when you’re knocked down and finishing what you start..

Successful finishers earn a finisher medal, a Hurricane Heaters badge, entry into a closed networking group, a finisher t-shirt, and the chance of a lifetime finding the Spartan finish line a Hurricane Heater.
