MAP & DIRECTIONS

 

All parking is on site or at very nearby satellite lots; you will be directed by mountain staff as you arrive. There will be a $5.00 per car (cash) parking fee collected by the venue when you park. Please don’t park on the roads or you will be ticketed. This applies to anyone (spectators, racers, King Leonidas, etc). Be prepared to have to park in one of the satellite lots and take one of the many busses we will have running throughout the day to and from the main event area.

 

We will have a bag check on-site to accommodate those parked in the satellite lots. Please only check easily identifiable and fully closable (i.e. zipper) bags.

Race Day InformationWhat You Need To Know

When: July 14th and 15th* 2012

Distance: 4 hilly miles (course still to be finalized), fastest time should be around 40 minutes. Longest times will be close to 2 hours. This is a chip-timed event.

Start Times: Heats start at 9am with up to 250 racers per heat and continuing every 30 minutes throughout the day. Enter the 9am “Elite” heat if you want to be as competitive as possible and race against the best.

Aid Stations: None… hydrate before and/or carry your own water on the course. Or plan on drinking nasty retention pond water while you are sloshing through it (not recommended).

Please note that pets, coolers, or grills are not allowed within the main event area. Spectators are welcome (subject to same parking fee).

Spectators: Spectator tickets are $15 and sold onsite (please bring cash, limited Credit Card services are available). As a Spartan Race spectator, you get $5 Spartan bucks redeemable at the merchandise tent, a festival map, and rad access to some obstacles on the course, the epic Gladiator pit and finish line, the vendor tents, and hot food for sale on the grounds! So enjoy the live music and watching your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course in the safety and comfort (and relative mudlessness) of the Spartan Race festival ground areas! Raffles, entertainment, free muddy hugs from Spartan athletes, and all the other festival perks make this the best $10 you'll ever spend and we promise the next ticket you will want to buy will be a race entry!

Strength comes in numbers!   Become part of a team to help yourself and others get through the event, save money, and support our troops.

How does it work?

Create a team or join a team! The more people on a team, the more money everyone will get back in their pocket! Each team member will receive a discount, refunded to the method of payment used, a few days prior to race day. The discount escalates as the team size increases, so get more friends to join your team and everyone saves more money!

How many people are needed to make a team?

Teams are unlimited with a minimum of four people! Team members are timed individually and are not required to cross the finish line together.

Which team takes home the prizes?

The fastest 4 times of the team will be used to calculate the team's finishing time. Prizes will be awarded to the team who finishes on top! Interested? Learn more here...

Spartan Children's EventJr. Spartan Adventure Race

Kids Fit Jr. Spartan Adventure

Spartan Race is not only limited to adult fun! Bring the kids who can participate in their very own Jr. Spartan race.  They will enjoy the thrill of the run, a variety of scaled down obstacles and their own mini festival area filled with games and children's challenges! Our mission is to inspire children to develop a love for fitness at an early age.

Entry fee is $25.00 Per Child ages 4-13.  The course is about a 1⁄2 mile filled with junior obstacles for children 4-9 and 1 mile for kids 10-13.  Each child will receive a T-shirt and Finisher's Medal with 100% of the Jr. Spartan Adventure proceeds benefiting the Kids Fit Foundation.  

As a leader in the movement to help children learn life-long health and fitness habits, the Kids Fit Foundation strives to raise awareness and develop programs that educate, empower and inspire kids to become and stay fit.
