Race Day InformationWhat You Need To Know

We are working with Gleaners Food Bank, whose mission is to end hunger by engaging individuals and communities to provide food for people in need, to collect NON perishable food items at our race for the Tornado victims in the Midwest. We hope that we can count on everyone to bring a minimum of 2 items and help meet Spartan’s goal of 20,000 items! Let’s show Gleaners how the Spartan community supports our fellow man! Remember, all racers MUST bring 2 cans of nonperishables goods!

 

When: April 21st, 2012

♦BONUS♦: Indiana is the most unique Spartan Race in our circuit. It is the "founders race". It will be old school Raw... And will make anyone who embarks a Spartan for life.

Get ready for Andy and Joe to take you out of your comfort zone!!!

Distance: Around 4 miles. Fastest time = 35 minutes.

Start Times: Heats start at 9am with up to 250 racers and continue every 30 minutes throughout the day. Enter the 9am “Elite” heat if you want to be as competitive as possible and race against the best.

Aid Stations: TBD, we almost felt soft after giving you one in last year's

Parking: $15 (A portion of proceeds going to local Hurricane Relief)

Spectators: Spectators enter free and this event! Normally we have a $15 Spectator Fee, but that is being waived for this race... spread the word!

Strength comes in numbers!   Become part of a team to help yourself and others get through the event, save money, and support our troops.

How does it work?

Create a team or join a team! The more people on a team, the more money everyone will get back in their pocket! Each team member will receive a discount, refunded to the method of payment used, a few days prior to race day. The discount escalates as the team size increases, so get more friends to join your team and everyone saves more money!

How many people are needed to make a team?

Teams are unlimited with a minimum of four people! Team members are timed individually and are not required to cross the finish line together.

Which team takes home the prizes?

The fastest 4 times of the team will be used to calculate the team's finishing time. Prizes will be awarded to the team who finishes on top! Interested? Learn more here...

Spartan Children's EventJr. Spartan Adventure Race

Kids Fit Jr. Spartan Adventure

Spartan Race is not only limited to adult fun! Bring the kids who can participate in their very own Jr. Spartan race.  They will enjoy the thrill of the run, a variety of scaled down obstacles and their own mini festival area filled with games and children's challenges! Our mission is to inspire children to develop a love for fitness at an early age.

Entry fee is $25.00 Per Child ages 4-13.  The course is about a 1⁄2 mile filled with junior obstacles for children 4-9 and 1 mile for kids 10-13.  Each child will receive a T-shirt and Finisher's Medal with 100% of the Jr. Spartan Adventure proceeds benefiting the Kids Fit Foundation.  

As a leader in the movement to help children learn life-long health and fitness habits, the Kids Fit Foundation strives to raise awareness and develop programs that educate, empower and inspire kids to become and stay fit.
