Parking is very limited at the venue. Please park in these assigned parking lots based on your heat; we will have busses to shuttle you. Do not show up to the Amesbury Sports Park if you aren’t assigned there, you will be redirected to your appropriate lot.

We would also appreciate you carpooling to limit the cars and be easier on the environment. This is important to ensure that everyone easily finds a parking spot!
Busses will shuttle racers to and from the race start (a 5-10 minute ride). Busses start shuttling from the following parking lots at the following times and continue throughout the day:
Amesbury High School: 8:00am
Cashman Elementary School: 8:00am
Spurk Lot, North Essex Community College: 8:30am
Amesbury Elementary School: 10:30 am
The last return trip to the parking lots from the Amesbury Sports Park is 4:50pm.
The “Explore Amesbury” Stop: We have arranged for an in-town stop for those of you (or your friends) who would like to enjoy any of Amesbury’s great restaurants or stores. The in-town stop is at 21 Friend Street, Amesbury, MA, 01913 and the busses will start stopping here after 10:30am and will continue through 4:40pm.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome at the event. If you are traveling with a racer we ask that you take the shuttle with them from their satellite parking lot. If you can't carpool, and come seperately, you can park at the venue.
Please do your best to carpool. Access to the course will be very limited to the spectators from the Amesbury Sports Park (only a short section of course will be accessible) but you still be able to enjoy the live band and great food and drink (bring cash) at the start/finish area and help your Spartan celebrate!.
Pets: No pets are allowed at Amesbury Sports Park.
Valuables: We will have a “valuables check” area where you can check your valuables and a small change of clothes while you are racing. We will provide a small plastic trash bag for this. We are not responsible for stolen or lost items!
Friday Registration: Want to beat the Saturday lines? We will have a Friday night registration
from 5:15pm - 7:30pm at the Amesbury Sports Park. Come and grab a beer at
their bar and watch the rugby tournament that will also be going on Friday
night!

Some proceeds from the Boston Spartan Race benefit the Home Base Program! The Home Base Program is a partnership between the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital. It is a team of Veterans, physical medicine and behavioral health clinicians, educators and researchers. The program is dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans who were deployed in support of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan and now live with deployment-or combat-related stress and/or traumatic brain injury.
Are you a veteran, active military, or want to support someone who is? Come race in our 1:30pm Armed Forces Heat and support the Home Base Program by racing side-by-side with Veterans and active military personnel, showing your support through great competition. The Spartan Race allows everyone to come together and focus his or her energies on a great common goal. Spartan Races and The Home Base Program thank you for your support!
